About Our Herd
The Cats Drove Herd live on the Polden Hills in Somerset, very close to Glastonbury.
The Gloucester Old Spots is a very hardy breed that thrives living out doors in all weather conditions. The breed is slow maturing which produces tender tasty quality pork.
The welfare of our pigs is very important to us from the food they eat, to having warm dry housing and the paddocks they live in. Which all adds up to Happy pigs.
Our sows are from 'Princess Mary' and 'Dahlia' lines with new blood coming from 'Star Antoinette' and Winterwood Princess' lines with a young 'Gerald' boar, from the 'Toller' herd which helps us to produce excellent stock either for Breeding or for Finishing.
